Chiara Lubich's comments on suffering, continued from yesterday's post: "Our Soul is either in joy or in pain. When the soul is not singing, something is worrying it and this something has to be given at once  to God. The pains can come through external things... They can also be interior pains (scruples, doubts sadness, temptation emptiness nostalgia.) All these pains have to be given to God. The swifter the gift, the sooner the love descends into our hearts... If you feel something, whatever which doesn't leave your soul alone in peace, whatever it is you MUST give it to Him..."
